[I was searching through my co-worker's iPod and saw Ryan Adams, put on the album "Heartbreaker", she walks in giving a thumbs up]
Me: Yeah I thought it was time I gave Ryan Adams a try. A lot of people talk about him. It's kinda like Bruce Springsteen, though...it took me a long time to get into Bruce, like maybe he was coming from a place I couldn't relate to, but maybe the time is right now.
Sarah: Yeah, he's good. He's an asshole, though. But I still like his music a lot.
Me: Yeah I heard that.
[time passes, another song starts]
Me: I'm surprised, I'd heard some of his stuff before but maybe not this album, it sounds pretty New Wave. A lot like the Cars.
Sarah: What? This IS the Cars.
Me: Ha! That's what I thought. Well your iPod says it's Ryan Adams, so yeah...that explains why I was sitting here thinking Ryan Adams was shamelessly ripping off the Cars.
Sarah: Oh I thought you were just talking about Ryan Adams for no reason.
Me: Yeah maybe you should fix your iPod.
