well tbh everything is so fucking hetero and cis. i’m excluded because of my gender and sexuality and that’s probably why i talk about it so much, i don’t want to be written off and ignored and forgotten about because i’m a person and i’m here too.and really, cis hetero people never shut up about their sexuality/gender identity, either, it’s just no one really notices (heteronormative cispatriarchy and all that)
I’m not trying to sidetrack this but I wanted to add that I experience basically the same thing with veganism. I can say one thing to somebody in a week about it and they think I’m always preaching, and yet they and their culture are talking about meat and treating animals as mere objects so ubiquitously that they don’t even realize it.
